The non-governmental organization Caring Hearts (CAHE) marked its third anniversary by visiting Huruma Center, a care center for orphans and children with special needs in Mwangata, Iringa. The Executive Director, Oswald Abinery Kikoti, said: “We are celebrating our three-year milestone by bringing hope, smiles, comfort, and love to these children through gifts and essential support. We are committed to continuing this initiative every year to help those in need.”
The Centre’s Head, Pastor Upendo Sanga, expressed her gratitude for the visit, saying the children were happy and inspired. One of the children, Catherine Mwilapwa, added: “Thank you for making us feel like family. We are happy and pray that God continues to bless you.”
Since its registration, CAHE has been at the forefront of supporting vulnerable groups by providing aid, mental health education, economic empowerment for women and youth, and assistance to survivors of gender-based violence.
