About us
Caring Hearts (CAHE) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in May 2022 and legally registered under the NGO Act Number 24 of 2002. The organization was established to address social injustices and health crises facing communities across Tanzania Mainland. Its mission is to combat social injustices, human rights violations, and the lack of access to essential services that continue to affect vulnerable populations.
CAHE’s primary goal is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable children, youth, women, and the broader community. It aims to achieve this by providing support in the areas of human rights, environmental protection, social protection, gender equality, community empowerment, education, and health.
The philosophy and approach of CAHE are grounded in the belief that every human being is a unique individual, deserving of dignity, respect, and access to opportunities for growth and well-being.

Accountability
CAHE has its own internal rules and it is also accountable to its Board of Directors, organization’s members, and beneficiaries (i.e. vulnerable groups, government, and others requiring its services). CAHE practices a high level of transparency in all its undertakings.
Integrity
CAHE strives for strict work ethics. It protects the rights of women, youths, and children in all its programs, statements, and advocacy work. As a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), CAHE strives to work within the government’s regulations guiding civil society operations.
